The two founders of Lx R&D Inc. are:

Geneviève Dutil, Eng., MBA

Geneviève studied mechanical engineering at Laval University (Quebec) where she graduated with honours in 1996. She received many scholarships including NSERC and Canada scholarships for her studies. She worked for the National Research Center of Canada (Ottawa) at the Applied Aerodynamics Lab where she experimented with a wind tunnel and moving belt assembly (see publication* below). She joined the Key Motorsport (Canada) racing team in 1998 where she worked as Race Car Engineer and Team Manager of the Canadian FFord race team. She received the “Team Manager of the year” award in 1998 for outstanding results.

In 2000, she started working as Project Engineer at the R&D center of Bombardier Recreational Products. She worked on suspension, steering and brake systems as well as accessories like helmets and windshields. She also became an expert of the New Product Development process (stage-gate process). During her work at BRP, she also studied business administration at Sherbrooke University (Montreal) where she graduated with a MBA in 2007.

Alessandro Del Mistro, Eng.

Alessandro studied mechanical engineering at Laval University (Quebec) where he graduated in 1993.

After graduation, he worked for Key Motorsport (Canada), a front-running U.S. FF2000 and Canadian FFord race team, as Race Car Engineer and Team Manager. His duties included race simulation and aerodynamic development.

In 2000, he started working as Project Engineer at the R&D center of Bombardier Recreational Products. He designed the suspensions on the award-winning Outlander ATV platform using FEA tools. He also worked on cooling systems using CFD tools.
